Education

I earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Northwestern University in 1992 and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1995. I am licensed to practice law in Illinois and California.

My Practice

I practice in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.  I handle legal matters in several areas.  I am one of the few Ivy League trained lawyers who does not practice in a large corporate firm environment.  That gives my clients the advantage of a highly trained attorney, but at small firm rates and with a small firm's accessibility.  You will be working with me, not an assistant or paralegal.  I distinguish myself from many other lawyers by my personal attentiveness and quick responsiveness to clients.  In my practice, quick responsiveness is a high priority as is excellent quality of work.  I usually return phone calls the same day I receive messages, no matter how busy I am.  If my values and background suit your needs, please contact me by e-mail or telephone to set up a free phone or office consultation.  If I don't have experience in an area you need help in, chances are I know another attorney who does and I will provide you with a referral.
